What is EarHeal Drops?

EarHeal Drops has a combination of antiparasitic, antimicrobial, and fungicidal properties that is used to kill mites, any fungal and bacterial infections that may lead to otitis.

Target species: Dogs, cats, rabbits

How does EarHeal Drops work?

EarHeal Drops is a combination of ivermectin, lignocaine, clotrimazole, fluorphenicol, and betamethasone. Ivermectin belongs to a class of drug called Avermectins, which works by causing paralysis and death to the ectoparasites. Lignocaine is a topical anaesthetic which helps reduce pain. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi in the ear by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Fluorphenicol is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms which acts by inhibiting protein synthesis, through binding to and acting on the 50S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. Betamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid which works by reducing inflammation (redness, itching and soreness).

Dosage and Administration:

Clean the ear first before using the drops. Depending on the body weight instil twice a day into each ear for 7-10 days or as directed by your veterinarian.

Contraindications and Precautions:

Ivermectin should not be used to sensitive cat or dog breeds such as Collies. Not to be administered on sick, emaciated, pregnant and lactating animals.

During the treatment, do not allow the animal to lick the treated area for 10-20 minutes and avoid contact to the eyes.
