Indications:

For the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Description:

Yellowish-brown to brown, biconvex, oval tablets with speckles.

Pharmacology：

Grapiprant is a non-cyclooxygenase (COX)-inhibiting nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and an antagonist of the prostaglandin E₂(PGE₂) EP4 receptor.The EP4 receptor is a key receptor responsible for mediating PGE₂-induced inflammation and pain, and is a major mediator of nociception.Grapiprant exerts anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by binding to the EP4 receptor of PGE₂.

Dosage and Administration

For oral administration: 2 mg per kg body weight, once daily in dogs.

Adverse Reactions:

Common adverse reactions in dogs include vomiting, soft feces, diarrhea, and decreased appetite.

Precautions:

1.Halved tablets should be stored in the original packaging.

2.Safety has not been evaluated in dogs younger than 9 months or <3.6 kg. Use as directed by a veterinarian.

3.Safety has not been evaluated in pregnant, lactating, or breeding dogs. Use as directed by a veterinarian.

4.Safety has not been evaluated in dogs with cardiac disease. Use as directed by a veterinarian.
