Ingredient: Clindamycin Hydrochloride(C₁₈H₃₃CIN₂O₅S)

Indications:

For the treatment of canine skin diseases caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus pseudintermedius.

Description:

This product is a colorless to pale yellow clear liquid.

Pharmacology：

This product belongs to the lincosamide class of antibiotics.Clindamycin is an inhibitor of intracellular bacterial protein synthesis,which binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes,and may bind to the soluble RNA of some ribosomes,thereby inhibiting the binding of amino acids to these ribosomes,causing irreversible modification of subcellular elements involved in protein synthesis at the bacterial ribosome level.

Dosage and Administration

11 mg per kg body weight in dogs (equivalent to 0.44 mL of this product),once daily, for a maximum of 28 consecutive days.

Adverse Reactions:

No adverse reactions have been observed when used at the recommended dosage and administration.

Precautions:

1. Do not use in dogs with a history of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient clindamycin hydrochloride or any of the excipients.

2. Do not use in rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses or ruminants due to potential gastrointestinal reactions.

3. During long-term treatment (one month or longer), periodic liver and kidney function tests and blood cell counts should be performed.

4. Use with caution in dogs with severe renal disease or hepatic disease accompanied by severe metabolic disorders,and monitor serum clindamycin levels during high-dose treatment.

5. Safety in pregnant and breeding dogs has not been established.
