Ingredient: Montmorillonite/SiO2/Al2O3/Yeast extract

IngredientTypical Content RangeCore Function
Montmorillonite50–70%Main toxin binder: Layered structure adsorbs polar mycotoxins (aflatoxins, zearalenone) and prevents intestinal absorption.
SiO₂
(Silicon Dioxide)
10–20%Auxiliary binder + stabilizer: Enhances adsorption of non-polar mycotoxins (deoxynivalenol, fumonisins) and prevents clumping of the formulation.
Al₂O₃
(Aluminum Oxide)
5–10%Structural enhancer + adsorption aid: Improves the stability of Montmorillonite’s layered structure and boosts binding efficiency for heavy metals (e.g., lead) in contaminated feed.
Yeast Extract5–15%Gut health support: Contains Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) and β-glucans—MOS inhibits pathogenic bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella) adhesion; β-glucans enhance immune function and repair intestinal mucosa.

Indications

The product’s core role is mycotoxin detoxification, with secondary benefits for gut health. It targets common mycotoxin-related issues in livestock and poultry, and supports overall digestive function:

Core: Mycotoxin Binding & Detoxification

Targets major mycotoxins:

Effectively adsorbs aflatoxins (most toxic to liver), zearalenone (disrupts reproductive function), deoxynivalenol (causes vomiting and feed refusal), and fumonisins (damages kidney and liver).

Reduces toxin absorption:

Clay minerals (Montmorillonite, SiO₂, Al₂O₃) form stable “toxin-binder complexes” in the gastrointestinal tract, which are excreted with feces (no absorption into the animal’s bloodstream).

Mitigates mycotoxin symptoms:

Alleviates clinical signs like reduced feed intake, weight loss, poor egg production (layers), reproductive disorders (sows, dairy cows), and liver/kidney damage caused by long-term low-dose mycotoxin exposure.

Gut Health & Immune Support

Improves gut microbiota balance: Yeast extract’s MOS binds to pathogenic bacteria (e.g., E. coli F18), preventing them from attaching to intestinal epithelial cells; it also promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria (Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium).

Strengthens intestinal barrier:

β-glucans in yeast extract stimulate the proliferation of intestinal mucosal cells, reducing gut permeability and preventing “leaky gut” (a common side effect of mycotoxin damage).

Enhances nutrient absorption:

By reducing gut inflammation and optimizing microbiota, it improves the digestion of proteins, vitamins, and minerals—especially useful for young animals (weaned pigs, broiler chicks) with immature digestive systems.

Dosage

Animal Application ScenarioDosageUsage Method
Dairy Cows1. Routine mycotoxin prevention1. 50–80 g/head/dayMix evenly with total mixed ration (TMR); ensure each cow ingests the full dose.
2. Severe feed contamination2. 80–120 g/head/dayUse continuously for 2–3 weeks; reduce to routine dosage after symptoms (e.g., reduced milk yield) improve.
Swine1. Weaned pigs (20–30 kg)1. 1–2 kg/ton of feedMix thoroughly with creep feed or starter feed; avoid uneven mixing (may cause underdose/overdose).
2. Sows (gestation/lactation)2. 2–3 kg/ton of feedUse throughout gestation to prevent zearalenone-induced abortion; continue in lactation to improve milk quality.
3. Finishing pigs (60–120 kg)3. 1.5–2.5 kg/ton of feedIncrease to 3 kg/ton if feed mold is visible (e.g., white/green spots).
Poultry (Broilers/Layers)1. Broilers (0–42 days)1. 1–1.5 kg/ton of feedUse from day 1 to reduce aflatoxin damage; increase to 2 kg/ton during hot/humid seasons (high mold risk).
2. Layers (peak production)2. 1.5–2 kg/ton of feedMaintain throughout laying period to prevent mycotoxin-induced drop in egg production or thin eggshells.
HorsesForage mycotoxin contamination30–50 g/head/dayMix with hay pellets or concentrate feed; adjust based on body weight (e.g., 50 g for 500 kg horses).

Storage

Temperature: Store at 15–25°C (59–77°F).

Moisture: Keep in a dry environment (relative humidity <60%).

Light & Sealing:

Use opaque, moisture-proof packaging (e.g., laminated plastic bags, sealed metal drums) to protect yeast extract from UV light (UV degrades β-glucans).

Seal the package immediately after each use.

Shelf Life:  24 months
