Phoxim Solution 10%/20%/40%

Organophosphorus Insecticides:
Sinergasilus ,
Lernaea, etc.

Ingredient: Phoxim Solution 10%/20%/40%

Indication:

Organophosphorus Insecticides: Sinergasilus (Chinese copepod), Lernaea (anchor worm),

Ergasilus(ergasilid copepod), fish lice (Argulus), Gyrodactylus (gyrodactylid monogenean),

Dactylogyrus (dactylogyrid monogenean), and nematodes.

Appearance: clear to slightly yellow homogeneous liquid

Clinical Test Data

Clinical tests focus on efficacy against target pests and safety for common farmed aquatic species (data are typical references; actual results may vary by species, water conditions, and pest severity).

Efficacy Data:

Target PestTest SpeciesRecommended ConcentrationEfficacy
(After 72 Hours)
Fish lice (e.g.,Argulus)Grass carp, Silver carp0.05-0.1 mg/L (10% solution: 0.5-1 mL/m³ water)≥90% pest mortality
Anchor worm (e.g.,Lernaea)Crucian carp, Tilapia0.08-0.12 mg/L (20% solution: 0.4-0.6 mL/m³ water)≥85% pest detachment/mortality
Water fleas (e.g., Daphnia)Shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei)0.03-0.05 mg/L (40% solution: 0.075-0.125 mL/m³ water)≥95% pest mortality

Safety Data:

Toxicity to Aquatic Organisms:

Low toxicity to adult fish (e.g., 96h-LC₅₀ for grass carp: 0.35 mg/L, higher than recommended dosage).

High toxicity to juvenile fish, shrimp larvae, and aquatic invertebrates (e.g., 96h-LC₅₀ for shrimp postlarvae: 0.02 mg/L). Avoid use in larval rearing ponds.

Water Quality Impact:

No significant adverse effects on pH (6.5-8.5) or dissolved oxygen (≥5 mg/L) when used as directed.

Dosage

Dosage is calculated based on total water volume of the aquaculture pond (water volume = pond area × average water depth).

Product ConcentrationTarget OrganismDosage (Per Cubic Meter of Water)Application Method
10% Phoxim SolutionAdult fish (carp, tilapia)0.5-1 mL1.Dilute 1:500 with pond water first.
2.Sprinkle evenly across the entire pond surface.
3. Apply once; repeat after 7 days if pests persist.
20% Phoxim SolutionAdult fish (carp, tilapia)0.25-0.5 mLSame as above.
40% Phoxim SolutionAdult shrimp (vannamei, prawn)0.075-0.125 mL1.Dilute 1:1000 with pond water (higher dilution to avoid local high concentration).
2.Sprinkle evenly, focusing on areas with high pest activity.
3. Use only once per crop cycle; avoid frequent application.

Notes

Environmental Precautions: Do not use in ponds adjacent to water sources for drinking or irrigation. Avoid contaminating non-target water bodies.

Safety Protection: Wear gloves and a mask during operation. Avoid direct contact with skin or inhalation of the solution.

Withdrawal Period

For edible aquatic products (fish, shrimp), the mandatory withdrawal period is ≥21 days after the last application to ensure no drug residues exceed safety standards.
