Product Name: Fluralaner Solution
Ingredients: Fluralaner 1%
Appearance: Pale yellow to deep yellow clarified liquid.
Pharmacological action:
Pharmacology
Fluralaner is an isoxazoline insecticide and acaricide, through antagonism γ-aminobutyric acid
receptor and glutamate receptor gated chloride channel, so that chloride ions can not penetrate into
the post-synaptic membrane, interfering with transmembrane signaling in the nervous system,
resulting in some arthropods neurological disorders, and then death. Fluralaner is not
cross-resistant to dieldrin. The mites are exposed to Fluralaner by feeding on blood, and Fluralaner
acts within 4 hours on the cockatoo mite, inhibiting egg laying by females and disrupting the mite’s
life cycle. The effect lasts for 15 days after the first dose. In vitro bioassay results showed
Fluralaner to be effective against mites resistant to organophosphate, pyrethroid and carbamate
antiparasitic drugs.
Pharmacokinetics
Fluralaner is rapidly absorbed by chickens after internal administration, and the maximum blood
concentration is reached within 36 hours after the first mixed-drink administration, and within 12
hours after the second mixed-drink administration. Absolute bioavailability is 91% and plasma
protein binding is greater than 99.9%.
Fluralaner has a systemic distribution, with the highest concentrations in the liver and sebum.
Fluralaner is hardly metabolized in chickens and is mainly eliminated via the hepatic route,
with a plasma half-life of about 5 days.
Key Advantages
Broad-Spectrum & High Efficacy: Rapidly kills multiple external parasites within 24–48 hours of
application.
Long Residual Effect: Provides protection for 4–8 weeks, reducing the need for frequent
treatments.

Safety: Low toxicity to poultry (including chicks and laying hens) when used as directed; minimal
impact on egg production or meat quality.

Convenience: Solution formulation is easy to dilute and apply, suitable for both small andlarge-scale poultry operations.
Indication:
Control of active infestations by mites, lice, or ticks.
Prevention of re-infestation in poultry houses (due to its long residual effect).
Reduction of parasite-mediated diseases (e.g., anemia, secondary bacterial infections) and
improvement of production performance (e.g., increased egg laying rate, weight gain).
Usage and Dosage
Calculated by this product.
Mix Drinking: 1kg body weight of chickens per 0.05 ml (calculate as fluralaner, equivalent to
per 0.5 mg per 1kg body weight ), give the drug every 7 days for 2 consecutive times.
Daily dosage (ml/day) = total body weight of the flock to be treated (kg) x 0.05 ml/kg.
For example: 1L of the product can be used for chickens with a total body weight of 20,000kg.
Topical Application (Spraying):
Dilute the solution with water (per label instructions) and uniformly spray onto the poultry’s feathers,
focusing on areas prone to parasite infestation (e.g., under wings, around vent, neck). Ensure
thorough wetting of the plumage but avoid excessive dripping.
Dosage: Typically 0.5–2 mL per bird, adjusted by body weight (e.g., 1 mL for adult chickens, 0.5 mL
for chicks).
Withdrawal time:
14days for chickens, 0days for egg discarding period.
Specification: 1%
Storage: Seal preservation.
Shelf life:
36 months; 12 months at room temperature after opening the package;
24hours at room temperature after preparation.
