Ingredient: Enrofloxacin 10%

Mechanism of Action:

Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV—enzymes critical for DNA replication, transcription, and repair—leading to rapid bacterial death (bactericidal effect).

Key Target Pathogens:

Gram-negative bacteria:

Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella multocida, Haemophilus spp., Klebsiella spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica.

Gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. (some strains), Corynebacterium spp..

Mycoplasmas:

Mycoplasma gallisepticum (poultry), Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae (swine), Mycoplasma haemofelis (cats).

Pharmacokinetic Advantage:

Rapidly absorbed after oral administration, widely distributed to tissues (including lungs, kidneys, and intestinal mucosa), and has a long half-life—allowing for once-daily dosing in most species.
