Dosage & Administration:

Calculate as neomycin.

For oral administration:

One dose, for 1kg body weight, dogs and cats, 10-20mg; twice one day, continuously for 3 to 5 days.

Pharmacodynamics:Neomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics and its antibacterial spectrum is similar to kanamycin. It has strong antibacterial effects on most Gram-negative bacilli such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella and Pasteurella multocida, and is also sensitive to Staphylococcus aureus. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Gram-positive bacteria (except Staphylococcus aureus), rickettsiae, anaerobic bacteria and fungi are resistant to this product.
