This product is a veterinary antimicrobial

 premix containing 60% halquinol,

a hydroxyquinoline compound widely

 used in livestock farming.

Target Animals

Primary targets: Poultry (broilers, layers, turkeys)

and swine (weaned piglets, growing-finishing pigs).

Secondary application: Occasionally used in calves (for enteric disease prevention) in some regions, but this is not a mainstream indication.

Indications

Its main uses are divided into two categories: therapeutic and growth-

promoting.

Therapeutic purposes

Treat bacterial diarrhea in swine and poultry caused by susceptible pathogens, such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella (e.g., swine post-weaning diarrhea, poultry necrotic enteritis).

Prevent and control coccidiosis in poultry (especially caused by Eimeria species like Eimeria tenella and Eimeria maxima).

Growth-promoting purposes

Improve feed conversion ratio (FCR) in swine and poultry.

Enhance average daily gain (ADG) of animals during the growing period.

Usage

Mix with feed for poultry, swine, and aquaculture to support gut health and growth performance

Clinical Data

Clinical studies have verified its efficacy in swine and poultry, with representative data as follows:

Animal TypeStudy PurposeDosageKey Results
BroilersGrowth promotion50-100 ppm
(mixed in feed)
Over a 42-day trial, ADGincreased by 8%-12% and FCR decreased by 5%-7% compared to the control group
(no halquinol).
Weaned pigletsTreating post-weaning diarrhea1000 ppm
 (mixed in feed, 7-day course)
The diarrhea cure rate reached 85%-90% within 5 days, significantly higher than the 40%-50% cure rate of the untreated group; mortality reduced by 15%-20%.
LayersPreventing coccidiosis200 ppm
(mixed in feed, preventive administration)
The incidence of coccidiosis dropped from 30%-35% (control group) to 5%-8%; egg production rate remained stable (no significant drop due to coccidiosis).

Withdrawal period:

Withdrawal periods vary slightly by region (e.g., EU, US, Asia) and local regulatory requirements, but the following are widely accepted industry standards:
