Growth Promotion

In poultry, swine, and cattle, BMD 10% Premix improves feed conversion efficiency (FCE) (more weight gain per kg of feed consumed) and increases average daily gain (ADG). It achieves this by:

Reducing the load of pathogenic gram-positive bacteria in the gut, minimizing subclinical infections that waste energy.

Modulating the gut microbiome to favor beneficial bacteria, optimizing nutrient absorption (especially proteins and carbohydrates).

Target Animal Species & Prohibited Uses

Prohibited Uses (Critical!)

Egg-laying hens (layers): BMD accumulates in eggs, exceeding human food safety residue limits.

Lactating dairy cows: Residues transfer to milk; only approved for pre-lactating calves.

Breeding swine (sows, boars): No growth promotion benefit; unnecessary residue risk.

Companion animals (dogs, cats): Not approved for bacterial infections in pets (use oral bacitracin formulations instead).
